Lundra Canteen was founded in 1992 with the will of the founder Mr. Xhevdet Tufa and with the management of the canteen by the well-known oenologist Prof. Dr. Enver Uqini who together with the heirs are known as producers of Albanian viticulture.

The location of the Lundra canteen lies in the heart of the stunning landscape of vineyards and olive groves. They are 65 hectares and lie between the coolness and the Mediterranean hilly microclimate of the areas under Mount Dajti. Until the 1990s this area was part of the famous farm Gjergj Dimitrov, after the change of the system this territory passes again to the heirs who, turned their work into passion and business for the promotion and production of indigenous Albanian wine.

In the middle of the two thousand years, with the arrival of a new board of experts headed by the current administrator Mr. Haxhi Tufa, the turning point occurred. The new management team is enlivened by the great enthusiasm of the experiences which improve the quality of Lundra Canteen and the nine types of Lundra wine varieties. Professor and Doctor of Science Mr. EnverUlqini comes as he has been working with heart since the first hours of the establishment of the canteen (1992) and then he joins the territory, with the intervention and guidance of a high authority at the level national. Vera Lundra takes a step in quality, so much so that they are immediately accepted in markets outside Albania. The wine is of a high quality and with a strong identity, from then until today, Lundra wine has been constantly growing, the Lundra wine brand is more and more widespread and appreciated throughout the Albanian territory, the success of which of course owes to the team, the Tufa family. The canteen building is contemporary and built on the top of one of the hills, it has expanded over the years and everything has been invested with the latest technology. The Lundra Canteen around has cultivated forests and hills, they are like witnesses of the care with which this land is worked, to produce every year with infinite devotion and love. Lundra in its philosophy has the quality first, which is why its staff adopts a cultivation method inspired by the principles of organic farming which allows the vine to concentrate its resources on the best parts. The grapes are fermented in a wine preservative, at a constant temperature, and the wine is then left to ripen in oak barrels for three years. Lundra winery offers us a ruby-colored wine with delicate and abundant aromas, they are reminiscent of sweet spices and ripe fruits with an essential and somewhat delicate inflorescence, warm on the palate and full conception. From the taste of pomegranate flavored to that of rosemary and often with a light streak reminiscent of ripening by which very thin and very long vine roots penetrate deep into the clay soil and often with rocky rocks.
